The Palestinian Authority has strongly condemned a recent escalation of threats against the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem, issued by Israeli settlers and political figures. The condemnation was made during an emergency meeting of the Palestinian cabinet on Tuesday evening.
